1st Quarterly Newsletter

Hey everyone! It looks like we won’t be getting away from frequent updates any time soon. So I decided it’d be best to start a quarterly newsletter so that there is always a place to reference for up to date info in the salon!

First and foremost, Thank YOU for your cooperation during these interesting times. Navigating how to handle business during a pandemic is a process I never thought I’d be experiencing, but we’ve all worked through it the best we possibly can.

Second, as you all know, the governor left it up to each city to determine whether or not to mandate masks and the city of Avondale made their decision soon after. For more on that please visit this site: https://www.avondaleaz.gov/Home/ShowDocument?id=14644

The guidelines for my studio, and the Sola building remain as they have been since reopening on May 8, 2020 (please visit my previous blog ”Going forward with hair services” for details). As the states numbers continue to climb I do ask you all to remember to be considerate of myself, my family and my other salon guests. If you or someone in your home have come into contact with anyone who has contracted the virus, cancel your appointment immediately, and reschedule for a more appropriate date. I really enjoy working and being able to offer you my services, I will not be able to do that if I get sick or if it is determined that someone carrying the virus has entered my space.

Third, I just recently ended my time with Matrix as an educator and am having So much fun playing around with new products! I held a spring cleaning sale to clear out my old retail and you guys showed out HARD to help with that. I will keep certain shampoos and conditioners that I know you guys can’t live without, but I will be bringing on Fatboy and AIIR styling products full time and they will always be available for retail going forward!

Last but not least, I have always been committed to contributing to change when it comes to issues that are important to me. I frequently make charitable donations to organizations I believe in, and in February held my first annual charity event in support of three foundations near to my heart. In light of recent events I have chosen to go ahead with an idea I’ve had in the back of my head for awhile and I can’t wait to share it with you!
